What sizes do those Hunters' "heat packs" come in?
I used the small sized ones several years ago when I had an ear infection. They were perfect for the job. Now, years later, I need them again...but I need one thats much larger in size like electric heating pad sized . I had minor surgery on my right inner thigh last week and the site is still terribly sore. I have to drive about 100 miles tomorrow afternoon, and would like to have something to keep on my leg so I don't end up crying the entire drive...so I thought of these packs no electricity needed, perfect for the car . Do they come in large sizes, and if so..what store would be most likely to carry them. Thanks. By the way, NOT driving tomorrow is not an option.

Heat packs ?
Is there much of a difference between a heat pack that uses gel and one that uses grains?I was lookig around at some gifts and i saw a Fashy heat pack which looked nice but i'm not sure if the grains will be as effective or stay hot as long as the gel based heat packs. If anyone has experience with the grain heat packs, i would really like some input. thanks.I think the grains used are cherrystone..
Has anyone ever tried those "nature creation" herbal heating packs for the neck or back?

Heat pack for sore muscles, that is washable?
I lie on several heat packs to relax sore muscles. The heat packs I've owned are not washable due to the beads herbs inside that would get moldy if I put them in the washer. The outside is cloth so it is not easy to wipe over to clean.I've had them several years and I would really like to replace them with heat packs that I can actually clean whether I can put them in the washer, or at least be able to thoroughly wash them by hand so I'm not putting dirty packs in the microwave year after year.I do not like electric heaters.
