Question: Odd back pain...........?
(Posted by: on 2012-01-26 14:55:52)
So I am a 15 year old female. I play tennis in the spring season and haven't played since summer so I don't believe this could be sports related but whenever I bend over and then stand back up, I get a terrible pain in my back and usually sit down before i'm able to straighten up b.c of the pain. I get the same pain when I lay down before bed. Is this something that I should go to the doctor for or is it something that i'll just have to deal with? I've been experiencing this pain for about 3 months now. (the pain is in the lower to mid back area) |

Hi Rachel, Could the pain be because of incorrect posture? not enough rest? Go get yourself checked by a doctor since your having this pain for 3 months. You can also try out pain therapy devices to get relief from your back pain. I hope that helps ya! |

I get the same exact pain. Try going to your doctor and see what he says, maybe you need to go to the chiropractor. It sounds like your muscles are really tense. I haven't gone to the chiropractor yet, so I've learned to deal with it. You may just have to start stretching more. (: Hope this helped. |

Your sport, tennis, as I would know, as a 15 year old male who was playing tennis today, requires a lot of back movement, and if you have any back problems, regardless of changing your posture, will cause you back pain. That part of the back that you are describing is where my back is bothering me right now. Even so, there is most likely no need for immediate concern, though my reccomendation is speedy treatment for your own comfort. This is important to resolve, though. There's a chance that you might have mild kyphosis, and/ or scoliosis. Don't go to the doctor. Most will most likely tell you that you need surgery, whether or not you need it. I would reccommend finding a good, you really feel good if it's a good one, chiropractor. I have also heard good things about accupuncture, or acupressure, haha, and once again, you only feel really good if it's a good one. Watch your back. Call a chiropractor. The watch your back statement was meant for comic relief. |

We feel pain in low back & leg when sciatic nerve, the largest nerve of the body bothers with related Piriformis muscle. It puts pressure on spine. There are many reasons of sciatica like pelvic injury, fracture, tumors or piriformis syndrome. I think some of you movements has traumatize your sciatic nerve. You should try to remove the pain through stretches, because most of the time it is a body disorder.
