Question: Early period very heavy and back pain?

I am 24 and my periods are always around the same time but this time i was spottin very bright red blood about 10 days before my period and then three days later it started to become alot heavier then normal and brighter then normal. There is blood clotts but not any different from my other periods. so far i have had it for two weeks and it is just starting to look like it is gonna end. I have had no cramping only slight lower back soreness. I did feel bloated but i no longer feel like that. I know what i really need to do is see a doctor but it takes for ever for my doctors to get me in so i was just looking for a little piece of mind while i wait. i am very sexually active with my boyfriend and currently use no protection. did try the evra patch for two weeks two months ago but went off of it when it was causing breathing problems for me my period did come on time and normal after i took it off early. So just looking to see if any one has any ideas as to whats wrong with me?

Could certainly be a miscarriage, if your doc suspeccts this he will do an ultrasound to examine the pelvis or uterus. Could be many a things, think whats been going on different? did u only just stop using protection? Really I know what its like to want piece of mind but I could list a million things, some very scary and some completely harmless, from fibroids to cysts to other womans stuff.... I am sure you are fine but do book that doctors appt... :) Try not to think about it!!!
